The Middle East talent Venice Film Festival presence was unmissable at the 82nd edition, held in Venice from August 27 to September 6, 2025. As one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, it became a stage not only for cinema but also for cultural and celebrity highlights from the Middle East.
Armani Beauty, the festival’s official beauty sponsor, hosted a series of exclusive events where Middle Eastern stars stole the spotlight. The Venice Venice Hotel, owned by the founders of Golden Goose, provided a stunning backdrop for celebrity photo shoots and intimate gatherings. Spanish actor Miguel Angel Silvestre joined Tunisian influencers Marwa Agrebi and Sara Cherif, along with Moroccan star Meryem Said, for a stylish cocktail event.
The grandeur continued at the Doge’s Palace, overlooking St. Mark’s Square, where Armani hosted a private dinner. Guests dined at a long, elegantly decorated table adorned with plush green hydrangeas and crisp white linens. The dinner drew an eclectic mix of international stars, including Cate Blanchett, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and supermodel Madisin Rian.
At the center of Middle Eastern representation was Lebanese-Jordanian actress Andria Tayeh, known for her breakout role in Netflix’s Al Rawabi School for Girls. Recently appointed as Middle East ambassador for Armani Beauty and Kérastase, Tayeh’s presence added prestige to the evening. She also revealed her latest project as host of The Voice Kids. “It was my first ever experience as a presenter,” she shared, describing it as a thrilling new challenge.
The celebrations concluded with Giorgio Armani’s legendary afterparty at the Arsenale di Venezia. Guests danced late into the night as a DJ mixed tracks alongside archive runway footage spanning three decades, from 1975 to 2005.
The Middle East talent Venice Film Festival showcase highlighted how regional stars are increasingly central to global cultural stages. Their participation not only emphasized fashion and film but also reinforced the Middle East’s growing influence in entertainment worldwide.
